About the Journal

The Journal of Judicial Administration (JJA) is a leading forum for the discussion of issues surrounding judicial administration and publishes contributions that encourage informed discourse about contemporary issues in areas such as:

• efficient and effective operation of courts
• tribunals and quasi-judicial forums
• impacts of new technology on judicial administration
• structure, organisation, financing and management of the courts and the court system
• appointment, tenure, independence and accountability of judicial officers
• education programs to enhance the work performance of justice system personnel.

The former AIJA Executive Director Professor Greg Reinhardt AM edits the JJA, which is published in association with the AIJA.

It is a subscription-only, peer-reviewed journal published by Thompson Reuters. 

All contributions to the JJA are peer-reviewed and written by leading judges, academics, practitioners and other legal specialists and experts.
